The Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Finals get underway tomorrow in San Jose and Philadelphia as the Sharks host the Blackhawks and the Flyers host the Canadiens. CBC will provide complete coverage of the East Final, as well as games 4-7 of the West Final. TSN will air games 1-3 of the West Final.
Bob Cole, Garry Galley and Glenn Healy will call the East Final for CBC. Elliotte Friedman will report from ice-level. Ron MacLan and Don Cherry will host and do the Coach’s Corner on-site from Philadelphia @ Montreal.
Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson will call the West Final for CBC. Scott Oake will double as rinkside reporter and studio host. Kelly Hrudey will join him for the intermissions.
Chris Cuthbert and Pierre McGuire will call TSN’s coverage of the West Final. It is likely that they will pick up the NBC feed for game 1 on Sunday afternoon with Doc Emrick, Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire. The studio crew will consist of James Duthie, Bob McKenzie, Ray Ferraro and Darren Dreger. I have no clue why Darren Pang isn’t part of it.
