Full 2011-12 NHL Canadian TV Schedule

Over the past month Canadian networks have released their 2011-12 NHL TV schedules. The complete TV schedules are now available for all seven Canadian teams. I have compiled all the broadcasts into one Excel file. It includes 7 different pages, one for each team. This way you can easily see where your favourite team’s games will be broadcast each night. I have included English-language schedules for all seven teams, as well as French-language schedules for the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens. If you have any questions, leave a comment. I hope everyone enjoys this feature, because I spent a fair amount of time working on it.

And please, download it, print it, share it with friends, whatever. The only thing I ask is that nobody posts it on their own site, without linking back here as well. Enjoy.

Here is the link to the file.

An Early Look: Preseason NHL TV Schedule

EDITORS NOTE: This is the second in a series of guest posts on Canadian Sports Media Blog (by the way, if your interested, drop me an email). This one come from Trent Walters. I appreciate it greatly because I’ve been so busy lately that I’ve completely overlooked the NHL preseason TV schedule, which is now mostly available. You can (and should) follow Trent on Twitter. He only has 3 followers guys; he deserves more than that! And another note, Sports on Canadian TV and Monday Morning Commentator are coming later tonight. I was without power from 11pm last night until 6pm today

As of August 28, these are the NHL Preseason TV games scheduled involving Canadian teams. In the past some providers (Bell and Shaw Direct) have included these games with NHL Centre Ice package as a bonus. I have Shaw Cable in the Edmonton area and historically there are no preseason games in Centre Ice.

Teams/regional broadcasters may add additional games to TV or streamed on their website including various Rookie Tournament games. Last year, every Oilers preseason game was on TV (TSN, Sportsnet West, or Sportsnet Oilers) even though initial lists didn’t have them all on the slate. The Jets don’t officially have a regional broadcaster as of August 28, so their list could increase.

National Games in bold.
