A couple of things, I think this is the first time since flex-scheduling was introduced in 2006, the first year of NBC Sunday Night Football, that none of the scheduled Sunday night games were flexed. Also, for week 17, the front-runners for the NBC Sunday Night slot are Lions-Packers, and Bengals-Steelers, any other possibilities Dan?
I have a feeling it will be Lions-Packers just because it’s a sure division title match (in essence), something NBC loves. With the Ravens still with a shot at the AFC North crown, the last thing NBC wants is a game that has very little playoff implications except seeding. Then again, the AFC Wildcard race is a gongshow so anything is possible. I’d still go with DET-GB as the sure thing.
No one is carrying the Bengals-Browns?
Nope. Unless you happen to be in the area where the Fox affiliate in Cleveland can be picked up via over the air antenna.
