NFL Canadian TV Guide: Week 3

NFL LogoFinally some options come in week three for those of you with timeshifting channels. Four different games across the CTV networks in the early slot along with a nationwide game in the season-debut for CTV2. Only one late game on the Canadian networks, but those who get Fox Boston and Buffalo will be able to see the only other late game available. 1. There are 3 games in the 4 pm window, Chiefs-Dolphins, which will be only be watched by fans of both of those teams, while most of football fandom will be watching the Super Bowl rematch, and to an extent, the big NFC West showdown between 49ers and Cardinals.

  2. I am pretty sure that the Thursday night will not be broadcast on City this week

  3. I am surprised that Broncos-Seahawks is not a prime time game, either Sunday, Monday, or Thursday. Instead we got a Falcons blowout of the Bucs, Steelers-Panthers, and Bears-Jets, not exactly marquee matchups when compared to the Super Bowl rematch.

  4. The second half of the 49ers-Cardinals game will be on TSN2 after the NASCAR race (5:30pm ET).

  5. Wow, TSN has FIVE channels. You play 2 channels for CFL & Nascar and 3 for NFL. The five channels “upgrade” by TSN really has not created more chances to watch different sports.

    • Is there a good chance this 5-channel TSN won’t last very long. Also, with TSN not having NFL this week, the powers-that-be at Bell will cut their losses and return the 4 pm games back to Rogers Media for next year.

        Source?

        @ Jacob,

TSN is contractually obligated to show all CFL Football games on TSN 1, 3, 4 & 5.

      • The 5 channels have helped with their EPL coverage as matches only shown previously on tsn.ca are now shown on tv. And it has boosted US college football games being shown. And there has been some regular programming that was previously pre-empted being shown such as PTI, ESPN FC etc..

What do you think?
