NBC Will Show 13 Games For The 2014-15 NHL Season

NHL on NBCNHL on NBC returns for the 2014–15 NHL season and viewers who don’t have cable and/or prefer NBC’s production over Canadian networks will enjoy 13 games through the season, beginning with a US Thanksgiving Day Black Friday game between the Flyers and Rangers. Following that will be the Winter Classic in Washington and then January through to April will mostly be the usual Sunday afternoon game.

As they always do, NBC’s games will feature some of the biggest teams in the NHL numerous times — Blackhawks (4), Red Wings (3), Penguins (3), Rangers (3), Flyers (3), Blues (2), Bruins (2), Capitals (2).

Returning to the broadcast booth for its main telecasts will be play-by-play voice Mike “Doc” Emrick, as well as analyst Eddie Olczyk and “Inside the Glass” analyst Pierre McGuire.

Sunday, Feb. 22 — Washington at Philadelphia, 12:30pm

Saturday, Feb. 28 — N.Y. Rangers at Philadelphia, 8pm
Sunday, March 8 — Detroit at Boston, 12:30pm
Sunday, March 15 — Detroit at Pittsburgh, 12:30pm
