NFL Canadian TV Guide: Week 2

Week two sees the return of NFL Network’s broadcast of Thursday Night Football (which can be seen on Sportsnet, not NFL Network here in Canada). A majority of the nation will see Redskins / Packers on CTV at 1pm ET (keep an eye out for this guy in the crowd); in a slight twist, TSN, will be showing a 1pm game due to NASCAR (which should make those who don’t get TSN2 happy); and just two 4pm ET games split between City nationwide and three of the four regional Sportsnet channels (City has no station in the east, hence why Sportsnet East shows the national City game, in case you were wondering.)

As always: times are Eastern, games are subject to change, US listings will be available on the daily listings.

  1. CITY has a station in Montreal. Last Sunday on Videotron Montreal, at 4PM, we had the same game (GB/SF) in HD on 5 channels (CITY Montreal, CITY Toronto, Sportsnet East, FOX and RDS2). The other game (Arizona/St-Louis) was not in HD anywhere, because Videotron has no HD feed of Sportsnet Ontario, West or Pacific.

  2. I’m curious how the Bills game is on CTV Kitchener and not Toronto? I was always under the understanding that unless the game was blacked out we were always subject to the Bills?

  3. Have an awesome time in Green Bay this Sunday Dan! :)
