  1. This isn’t Memorial Cup related, I only was able to watch a few minutes of any of the world Hockey Championships today and it was Rod Black and Bob Errey doing the play by play from Toronto. Didn’t TSN have two crews over in Europe for today’s games? Also I have only seen the highlights of Canada and it was Paul Romanuk which was great to hear, but where was Dave Randorf?

    • I was working all day, so beats me. All I really saw was mobile updates and then some of the re-air of Canada’s game. It was Romanuk and Johnson doing the Canadian game, I think. So, I’m not sure on what happened to Randorf. I’ll look into it.

I think it was supposed to be Randorf/Johnson in Helskini and Romanuk and someone (Bob Hartley?) in Stockholm.

    • Seems Dowbiggin’s column is worth reading sometimes. Caught this today:

“Props to TSN’s Rod Black and Bob Errey. The pair expected to be hosts of pregame and intermissions of the world hockey championships on Thursday from TSN’s Toronto studios. Then announcer Dave Randorf, who was to call the two games live from Sweden, was sidelined by illness. So Black and Errey called both games off monitors back in the Toronto studios. Might be the best save of the tournament.”
