NHL Playoff TV Guide: April 16-22

I found posting this daily was taking up too much space on the main page, making it harder to find other articles. So, since all games until Sunday, as well as TSN’s and CBC’s commentators, have already been confirmed, here is the NHL playoff schedule for the next week.

If PIT-PHI ends on Wednesday night, I will update the schedule accordingly. The only change would likely be DET-NSH moving to RDS that night though.

  1. This hasn’t been updated on the NHL’s official schedule, but if you go to the RDS website and check Wednesday’s broadcast schedule, there’s been a change. RDS is now going to air game 4 of PHI-PIT while game 4 of NYR-OTT moves to RDS2 (they showed it on air at the end of tonight’s NYR-OTT game too).

Kind of surprising they’d do this since they claimed the Sens series was going to be front and centre in the first round according to the press release. Plus they even went to the expense of doing their own production of game 3 rather than using someone elses pictures and sent Houde and Denis to Ottawa.

    • Yeah its shocking, unless they are trying to force people into subbing to RDS2. I’d find it hard to believe anyone would considering its only one game and its on a channel everyone gets (in English) anyway.

  2. It is nice to see TSN sending its two crews to call all the games possible through out the week. The NHL should have spread out Friday’s games to make it as close to a doubleheader (have the games start at 4:00 and 6:00 PT), that is if the Penguins can force a game five.

  3. Sara Orlesky is the reporter for game 3 of the Coyotes @ Blackhawks game.
