NOTE: The Angels @ Yankees MLB game was originally scheduled to be on Sportsnet One from 1:30 p.m. to 4p.m., followed by the UFC event. The UFC is now live at 3 p.m. so the MLB game will no longer be shown. I don’t know if Sportsnet originally had it on delay, or the time of the event changed, or maybe Sportsnet got confused with daylight saving and scheuled it for the wrong time.
There is no Manchester City vs. West Brom
And these are the correct time for the following games
EPL: Swansea City vs. Blackburn – 10 a.m. on Sportsnet
EPL: West Bromwich v Queens Park Rangers – 12:30 p.m. on Sportsnet
Thanks for that, I updated the post. I’m guessing that error was a combination of Sportsnet changing the two games around since I drafted this post on Wednesday, and me rushing to complete it before I took off for the weekend.
No problem, just wanted to make sure it was correct … Keep up the good work!!
Good choice of song btw ;)
Thanks. I’m in St. Louis for the weekend, so it made sense to feature my favourite St. Louis-based band.
Does anyone else have an issue with all the American ads on the boards in Vancouver? Discover, Sprint etc.. Does NBC have that much pull in the playoffs?
Might have more to do with US companies outbidding Canadian companies for the adspace knowing Americans are watching. But yes, NBC has a lot of pull.
I don’t really care one way or the other to be honest. Ads are ads.
Are there Canadian companies advertising on the boards of US-based games during the playoffs?
I’m not sure for this year. I know in the past Buffalo has sold ad space to Canadian companies when TSN/CBC are showing their playoff games and they aren’t on national TV in the US.
On Saturday, FOX is also showing Texas Rangers @ Minnesota Twins.
