  1. Only 24 Dodgers games? That’s a bit disappointing, especially since it’s looking to be Vin Scully’s last year.

    • And whoa! Only 2 Mariners games!? There were at least 30 last year!

      • I agree – the Mariners thing is really weird.

      • In the past Sportsnet had a contract with the Mariners to show 50 games from FS Northwest (no ROOT Northwest) per season. It looks like the contract has expired and now Sportsnet can’t show any regional Mariners games. The two they have are FOX Saturday Baseball games.

        • that is a load of fucking shit! 2 Mariners games on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific. Ted “Toronto” Rogers still has a stamp on the team as 162 Bloody Blue Jay games are on Rogers Sportsnet. It is like the fucking Toronto Sports Network!

          • You do realize the Jays are the Canadian team, right? They are the most popular team. Why wouldn’t Sportsnet show all their games?

As for the Mariners, as I understand it they sell their own local rights in Canada (or at least in BC). For whatever reason (probably money) Sportsnet decided not to re-new their deal with the Mariners. It has nothing to do with the Jays.

What do you think?
