  1. Huh. That Buffalo-Vancouver late game on HNIC has a whole new look to it now.

    • Very true. Whereas I was disinterested in the BUF-VAN game for the last two weeks, this week I am suddenly looking forward to the game on Saturday night. Come playoff time, hopefully the trade doesn’t come back to bite the Canucks in the behind.

      • The NHL Network in the States has stopped carrying the second game of the HNIC doubleheader. Was looking forward to seeing Buffalo @ Vancouver.

        • Which reminds me… why did the NHL Network stop carrying the second game of the Hockey Night In Canada doubleheader? It sucks that you won’t be able to see the BUF-VAN game this Saturday night. (:

          • I haven’t been able to get an answer. I e-mail the NHL Network and get no response. What is also odd is that we used to be able to get After Hours on the CBC Web site, and now the current episodes aren’t available.

            • “What is also odd is that we used to be able to get After Hours on the CBC Web site, and now the current episodes aren’t available.”

Does CBC geoblock After Hours in the United States and/or does the Internet Service Provider who serves your area perform the geoblocking?

Another question I wanted to ask (even though it’s off topic): are you able to stream Wednesday Night Hockey games from tsn.ca? If you are able to stream the TOR-CHI game tomorrow night but you cannot receive After Hours and you were able to stream the show online in the past, then that’s just strange.

              • “This content is current unavailable” — This is what I hear when I click on the video for After Hours on the CBC Web site. Throughout the season, the only After Hours I couldn’t get was when Chicago was in Edmonton (I live in Chicago)..Ever since the NHL Network stopped carrying the second game, I also haven’t been able to watch After Hours via the CBC.

As for tsn.ca, I haven’t tried to stream an NHL game, but I couldn’t stream the CFL.

                • Is your internet service provider Comcast by any chance? Maybe they are the ones performing the geoblocking? I really couldn’t help you on that one. (:

Re: tsn.ca, since the Blackhawks are playing the Leafs tonight on TSN, trying to stream the game tonight might not give you the best results as you live in Chicago though give it a try anyway and see what happens. Next week’s TSN Wednesday Night Hockey game is TOR-PIT. You may get better results if you try streaming that game.

  2. It is nice that with TSN2 having to televise the Daytona 500, RDS Info Sports is simulcasting the Devils-Rangers NBC Sports game in french.

  3. TSN’s Wednesday exclusive window ends at 10:30PM ET, therefore the Oilers-Blues games will be JIP at 10:30PM (8:30PM) on SNET WEST.

What do you think?
