Sports on Canadian TV: January 9-13

Here are this week’s Sports on Canadian TV listings. Monday is a big day in sports, with a Monday finish for the PGA Tour’s season opener in Hawaii and the BCS Championship Game.

For anyone looking for something (other than Tebow) to watch this evening, check out “Oasis: Standing on the Edge of the Noise” on HDNet at 6:50pm ET. It was really my introduction to Oasis a couple years back. A great concert. Here is “The Important of Being Idle” from that show to listen to while you read.

  1. Nice to see Sportsnet getting plenty of cricket coverage on, especially Canada games on SN1.

  2. This is way off topic does anyone know doesd Tsns till have the rights for Nascar/f1 etc for 2012?

    • As far as I know. The answer is a certain yes to Formula 1, TSN signed a new deal last year. TSN and NASCAR have a partnership for NASCAR Canada, so I think their deal is long-term. I’m not sure about IndyCar though.

What do you think?
