  1. The CBC matchups feel like a square dance gone horribly wrong. When was the last time Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson were split up?

Is the NHL Center Ice preview just in Canada, or also in the United States?

    • Yeah I know, some really odd choices by CBC. I see how they make some sense. The best way I can explain is…

MTL-NJ: Cole was an obvious choice. Millen is in Washington the night before.

VAN-OTT: Galley lives in Ottawa, CBC loves having Hughson on Vancouver games.

WPG-DET: These guys were kind of left over.

      EDM-CGY: Simpson lives in Alberta.

      • Even if that was the case, why not Ball and Weekes on the Winnipeg game? Might as well have the guys who usually work Winnipeg games if you can, and that way, you leave Dean Brown open to work Ottawa radio if he wants.

  2. Watching game now – VS chi-phx is pierre, mike, eddie o.(3 man not 2)

  3. For the commentators guessing game, you should include all the Versus games, not just one game. Yay for free Centre Ice!
