  1. I love the soccer schedules.

Do you think Sportsnet could really use the Saturday soccer slots better? I mean, technically, we could have 3 10 am games live. One on the main channel, one on sportsnet world, and one sportsnet one? I feel like since they made Setanta officially SN World, they have stopped using SN one for soccer. Your thoughts?

    • I agree. However, there are some weeks where Sportsnet One has live programming on Saturday mornings (usually tennis). I’d probably put the game Sportsnet shows on delay in primetime (this week, Wolves vs. Everton) live on One. The problem is on weeks where the Saturday morning lineup is watered down, especially when TSN2 doesn’t have a live game at 7:30 ET.

Sportsnet stopped using SN One for soccer after baseball season (which I guess coincided with Setanta re-branding) because the Saturday afternoon games don’t conflict with Jays games anymore. They may go back to One come April. Last year Sportsnet let the Saturday 12:30 ET games on One to up the number of subscribers.

What do you think?
