  1. How exactly do all these World Cup qualifiers work? Does Canada need to beat St. Kitts in order to have any hope in qualifying for the World Cup?

    • Canada already won Round 2 qualifier on a strength of 0-0 draw in St. Kitts last Friday. Therefore, Tuesday’s game is meaningless. In Round 3 Canada will face Cuba, Panama and Honduras in the round robin. Top two teams advance to the final qualifying round. Unfotunately, based on the Canada performance this year chances are very slim that they will make it to Rio.
