  1. I didn’t realize how big of a deal the Rays-Yankees series was for Rogers Media! Too bad no American broadcaster bigger than MLB Network picked up any of the games (FOX bypassed it–maybe to have flexibility for both teams, esp. the Yanks, later on–and TBS went with Braves-Phillies).

    • Sportsnet tends to like to air any Yankees games when they don’t conflict with the Jays on weekends. They had 2 games from Yankees-Mets last weekend too.

I don’t see any problems with Fox or ESPN/TBS not picking it up. IMO ATL-PHI is a better series. ESPN made their selection for Sunday night before the season. Plus the Giants don’t get on SNB often.

      • The games on Thursday and Sunday were not in the original schedule, according to your “MLB on Sportsnet One” post, so I think they may have been added in because of Derek Jeter’s quest to 3 000.

What do you think?
