The Fab Five Premieres Monday on TSN

ESPN’s critically acclaimed documentary The Fab Five premieres on Monday March 28 at 8:00pm ET. The Fab Five details the history of the early ’90s Michigan Wolverines basketball team. Jalen Rose, a member of the team is also part of the production crew as an executive producer. The special revolves around the Michigan starting lineup from the early 1992 and 1993, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson and Chris Webber. This is generally regarded as one of the best starting lineups in college basketball history and they have become known as the Fab Five. They made it to back-to-back National Championship games.

Here is a quote from Rose

I hated Duke, and I hated everything Duke stood for. Schools like Duke don’t recruit players like me. I felt like they only recruited black players that were Uncle Toms.

  1. Wow. Now you know I normally have a strong dislike for TSN – but I have to give them a thumbs up for this. I can not wait!

  2. They didn’t win the National Championship, but they went to the final two years in a row.

    I’m planning to watch this.
