Australian Football Returns In One Week

Once again in 2011 TSN2 will air a weekly Australian Football League game. The Australian Football League, the highest competition of Australian Rules Football in the world, is one of the most popular sports leagues in Australia and abroad. Coverage on TSN2 will come from Australian networks Seven, Ten and Fox Sports. All games should be in HD, but it isn’t a guarantee. If you have never checked this sport out, then you should. It is one of the best sports going.

As usual, this year’s Grand Final will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in September. TSN2 will broadcast a total of 25 regular season games, plus 2 games during each round of the playoffs. 23 of the regular season games are already scheduled, with the other two being wildcard picks on the last weekend of the season in August. The most historic team in Australian football, the Collingwood Magpies, will try to defend their 2010 Premiership. They have had a good start in 2011, winning the preseason NAB Cup last week.

  1. It was a shame TSN didn’t broadcast the grand final replay last year.

  2. Looks like we both missed it then! That’s what I get for tuning into the wrong channel I guess! Sorry bro.
