NFL Canadian TV Schedule: Week 11
CTV has three games this weekend. TSN2 doesn’t have a game because of the final NASCAR race of the season in Miami. A lot of the American stations have switched games lately.

TSN, RDS (Mike Tirico & Jon Gruden)
I mentioned my guesses in the week 10 blog and kind of surprised that the Eagles @ Redskins isn’t being picked up by CTV. Have to think that some border stations will show that game. I know there isn’t much to choose from but the Browns @ Cowboys is not a good game and having BC and Alberta show that game is wrong. The Packers game is by far better. Heck the Texans and Falcons which are the best teams in the NFL should be added to lineup with Cowboys taken out to make for 4 games.

I agree, the Packers game is a lot better of an option than the Browns @ Cowboys. I just don’t understand why the game is not being carried by CTV in BC, when Fox Seattle is broadcasting the game. I am pretty sure they could’ve simsubbed the broadcast, but I guess they aren’t going to.

Probably because people complain when CTV only shows 1-2 games. You contradict yourself crediting Rogers for more choice and complaining when Bell more or less does the same.

I’m not really complaining cause I still get the Packers game regardless. It’s just that I’d rather get the game coverage 5 seconds faster through an antenna rather than my television provider.

The Fox Stations in Burlington, Buffalo & Watertown are currently scheduled to show the Eagles @ Redskins game. If you have access to WFXT Fox 25 in Boston, they will be showing the Cardinals @ Falcons game unless there’s a switch. Lots of variety this Sunday. :)

Oops, I just realized that WUTV (Buffalo) switched from PHI-WSH to GB-DET. The Burlington & Watertown Fox stations are still slated to show PHI-WSH at this point.

More choice is good! Thumps up to Rogers! Thumps down to Bell for showing Browns instead of Packers

Fox Rochester is one of the stations I referred to changing. Likely to the Packers or Eagles game.

Yea, it could change to the Packers game, but I really doubt there is going to be a change.

Also on Shaw Cable and Direct it has Fox Spokane with the Packers @ Lions. It looks like all border FOX stations have switched to the Packers game. Those who have Bell will get the Cardinals @ Falcons on FOX Boston.

Just a quick question. I was wondering. When you give the Canadian TV Ratings for the NFL games, does it only include the people who tuned in to watch on CTV, Sportsnet or TSN. Or does it also include the people who watched the games on their local CBS, FOX or NBC network?
Thanks

Depends if the game is sim-subbed or not.

What Mike said. If simsubbing forces viewers to watch the CTV/City/TSN feed, then it includes the US net. So, Citytv usually does, but TSN only does for those with Bell, for example.
