2012 NHL Playoff Ratings: Update #2
TSN sent out a press release this afternoon bragging that their NHL playoff ratings are up 56% over last year through 8 games. TSN is averaging 991, 000 through Saturday. CBC, for their part, is averaging 1.6 million viewers.
CBC’s live streaming is up 22% over this time last year. This could be attributed to many Bruins fans having to take to the web to watch game 1 of their series against Washington. CBC is also testing a new HD video player on some games.
Here are the ratings from Thursday through Sunday. TSN’s ratings for Thursday and Friday are not currently available. If they become available, I will update this post.

Great ratings for both networks. Good numbers for the Blackhawks @ Coyotes game on Sat. night. Game 3 of the Canucks @ Kings was at 10:30 ET.
