The nominations for the 2011 Gemini Awards came out today. Here is a complete lists of sports broadcasts and broadcasters that were nominated. 1. Huh. I’m surprised at the anchors who got the nod at the bottom there. I can’t stand Dutchyshen (that might just be the colour of his lips, though), and while I like Onrait, I would’ve thought of Rod Smith as a more Gemini-type anchor.

    • Agreed 100%. Dutchyshen might be my least favourite Canadian sports personality. I’m surprised the likes of Smith and Don Taylor didn’t get nominated. Or Gino Reda.

Speaking of that, Sportsnet with no nominations again.
